My Story

While working in Human Resources, I experienced how prolonged and intense job pressures can have detrimental impact on people's lives. In fact, I was very close to burnout on more than one occasion. These experiences combined with my lifelong enthusiasm for psychology, made me passionate about improving people's psychological wellbeing.


 I created Leva Counselling Ltd as a place where individuals can explore and overcome life issues, in a non-judgmental and confidential setting. Leva means to live (in my native Swedish language). It refers to the simple concept of how regaining balance in your mind, can make you feel more confident, content and in control of your life.​


Counselling Approach

Using a Person Centred Approach, I draw upon my training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Motivational Interview (MI) Technique to provide insights, tools and strategies to improve individuals wellbeing.


I've got experience working with multicultural individuals with varied issues, but specialise in stress and anxiety management, increasing low self-confidence, esteem and resilience, as well as interpersonal skills development.
