Malin Rignéus, English speaking counsellor in Oslo
Are you...
Feeling stuck and looking for tools to manage feelings of overwhelm?
Struggling to manage racing thoughts?
Aiming to improve your resilience to face challenges?
If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, I'd be delighted to work with you in moving forward.
What can I expect...
I can't promise you miracles, but I will support your progress to the best of my abilities during our sessions together.
Hi,
I'm Malin, born and bred in Sweden now based in Oslo, Norway. The last two decades I've lived in England and Hong Kong.
I've got seven years of clinical experience providing therapy through individual meetings and Employee Assistance Programmes. I worked in international corporations within the HR field for seven years.
I witnessed how intense job pressures and relocation can negatively impact people. In fact, I was close to burnout myself on more than one occasion. These experiences made me passionate to shift career and support others.
My aim is to explore and overcome your life issues. Regaining balance in your mind, can potentially make you feel more confident, content and in charge of your life.
My Approach
Stress can develop due to different reasons. We'll aim to identify your specific triggers, provide you with hands on techniques, so you can feel more on top of things. Together we might focus on bringing more purpose into your life.
I'm trained in practical therapy approaches; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
We will touch on the past, but focus more on supporting change in the here and now.
